MURPHY, David J. Of Walpole and Pembroke Pines, Florida, Nov. 9, age 73. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Coady). Loving son of the late Charles Sr. And Dorthea "Roache".  Devoted father of David C. Murphy and his wife Julia of Foxborough and Anne E. Murphy of Newton. Cherished brother of Sister Dorothea Murphy of FL, Gerald of FL, Thomas of Dorchester, Rosemarie Kelliher of Brockton, and the late Charles and Robert. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE, Monday morning at 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, East Walpole at 9. Visiting hours Sunday evening 3-7. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole. Dave was the former owner of Murphy Associates of Quincy. He was a Navy Veteran. He was very involved in the Walpole Lions where he was honored with a Lifetime Membership Award. He was Past President of the Walpole Lions, Past District Governor 33K of the  Massachusetts Lions, and he was a Melvin Jones recipient.
