LANE, Justin W. Of Walpole, passed on January 12 at the age of 27. Justin was a graduate of Walpole High School. He enjoyed working with his hands, building things and taking things apart to see how they worked. He had several hobbies over the years; they always encompassed the great outdoors including dirt bikes, archery, camping, canoeing and star gazing. Always looked forward to winter nights locating his two favorites Orion “The Hunter” and the Pleiades.
He enjoyed spending time with family; especially retreats with his father and brother to Waquoit Bay down the Cape and Washburn Island where he loved to explore. He enjoyed father / son trips to Littleton, N.H. and a special family vacation to Nederland, CO. In Boston, he spent time walking Boston Common, visiting the Rose Garden, Aquarium, Science Museum Planetarium, Faneuil Hall, First Night and the Ice Sculptures. He took advantages of the joy in reading and you could find him with a book or doing research on the Internet. He attended a couple of Nascar events in Maryland and looked forward to establishing this new annual tradition. Devoted son of Brian S. Lane and Kathleen A. (Taylor) of Walpole. Loving grandson of Gerard and Carol Lane of Walpole and Dorothy Taylor and her late husband Charles of Readville. Cherished brother of James F. Lane and his wife Karen of Wrentham. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, WALPOLE, MA. Monday Morning at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, January 20, from 4-8PM at the Funeral Home. Interment at Terrace Hill Cemetery, Walpole, Monday, January 21, at 11AM
