Mary W Gilmore

GILMORE, Mary W. (Ballentine) Of Westwood, formerly of Hyde Park and Jamaica Plain, passed peacefully on November 21st surrounded by her loving family at the age of 76. Beloved wife of James H. of 55 years. Devoted mother of Jimmy (LT. MSP) and his wife Carol of Halifax, Christopher (Inspector BFD) and his wife Mary Jo of Sharon, Leonard (Maintenance Mechanic) and his wife Karen of Canton, and Jason (Sgt. BPD) and his wife Adrian of Roslindale. Cherished sister of Eleanor Ballentine of Jamaica Plain, and the late Bertha Thompson, Irene Gilmore and Louise Williams. Loving "Nannie" of 12 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 4-7 at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Norwood.  Relatives and friends invited.  Interment at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
