Brian Connolly of Walpole, formerly of Roslindale, on Tuesday, July 28,2021, passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of his family. For eight months, Brian fought a valiant battle after a bone marrow transplant with courage, determination, and hope. For 32 years he was married to the love of his life Pamela (Burns) and devoted father of Justin Connolly and his fiance Kylie Nelson of Pawtucket, RI, Jessica Connolly of Walpole, Alanna Connolly of Walpole, and his cherished dog B.Z. of Walpole. Brian was the son of the late Patrick and Nora Connolly. Loving brother of Patricia Butler and her husband Richard of South Attleboro, Margaret Bernazzani and her husband Richard of West Roxbury, Noreen Chmielinski and her husband Christopher of Walpole, Marion Emslie and her husband George of Attleboro, Thomas Connolly and his wife Mimi of West Roxbury, Ann-Marie C. Wilson and her husband Kevin of Westwood, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. May God hold him in the palm of his hands as he joins all those who have gone before him especially his parents and his niece Talia Emslie and brother in-law Trooper Mark S. Charbonnier.
With his strong work ethic, for close to 25 years, Brian enjoyed working at the Broad Institute as Payroll Manager fostering strong friendships with fellow workers. As a proud father, he was a fixture at every track meet, show, dance competition, graduation and everything in between. Brian's gift is that he always brought an incredible positive energy and enthusiasm with everything he did and with everyone he met. He lived his life enriched with a vision of keeping it simple, and knowing what mattered, love of life, love of family and friends, and love of a good laugh. And as everyone who knew Brian knows, he loved dancing and was always the first and last one on the dance floor. May we all dance again with Brian.
