Jean Idman Obituary
Jean Idman (Ballantyne) born October 12, 1933, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late John and Thelma Ballantyne of Sharon and the beloved wife of the late Ragnar "Ruggy" Idman, also of Sharon.
She was a Graduate of Boston University and worked in several Physician offices as well as Norwood Hospital for many years. Her happiest place was a family camp in Maine. She loved traveling there anytime she could, chatting with the Loons on the lake, reading, and enjoying nature.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne Idman Gervais and husband Sean D. Gervais of El Cajon, CA, and son Stephen J. Idman of Sharon. She is also survived by a beloved Sister and Brothers-in-law as well as Cousin Richard Durgin and wife Jean of Vienna, Virginia, and many Nieces, Nephews, and friends who loved her.
Due to her extraordinary love of animals, donations may be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
