Richard J. Mandoni, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 25, 2024, in Norfolk, MA. Born on September 29, 1964, in Boston, MA, Richard's journey through life was one marked by dedication and an enduring affection for the world around him.

Richard was the cherished son of the late George and Patricia (Mitchell) Mandoni. He was the beloved brother of Gail Beaver and her husband, Lauren, of Norfolk, and Linda Mandoni of North Attleboro. He was was “Uncle Rick” to Michelle Beaver.

His formative years in Norfolk laid the foundation for a life filled with hard work, family values, and a love for the outdoors and sports. After graduating from King Phillip High School in 1982, Richard joined the family's second-generation masonry business.

Richard's world brightened with the birth of his daughters, the loves of his life, Jenna and Grace Mandoni of Hopedale. He was a devoted Father who provided a strong and supportive presence throughout their lives. Richard's family circle extended to his former wife, Dale (Schwendenman) Stone, with whom he shared many treasured memories.

Richard's interests were as varied. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to garden, generously sharing his bounty with many neighbors. He loved all sports. He was an active participant in many different sports in his younger years and a steadfast fan of all New England Sports Teams.

Richard was a kind soul who supported many friends and family over the years in their time of need, and for that he will never be forgotten. Richard's absence will be felt deeply, but the love, laughter, and strength he planted in the lives of all who knew him will continue to grow and flourish. Richard's family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate the indelible mark he has left on their lives.
