Richard J McMillan "Cy"

McMillan Richard J. "Cy" of Walpole formerly of Hyde Park and Mattapan passed peacefully on January 6 at the age of 72.  Beloved husband of Lynette (Sorby) of 48 years.  Devoted father of Brooke McMillan and her husband James Gallivan and Skye Bergan and her husband James all of Walpole.  Cherished brother of Mary McMillan of North Carolina, Ann Contine "Nancy" of North Carolina, and William McMillan of Massachusetts.  Loving "Grampie" of Jack, Lillian,Julia, Maran, and Charlotte and also survived by many nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning from 10-12 at the Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home 45 Common Street Walpole relatives and friends invited.  Funeral services and interment will be private at families request.  Please wear a mask and respect social distancing.  Richard was a retired City of Boston plumbing and gas supervisor.  Please in lieu of flowers all donations can be made to The Jimmy Fund www.jimmyfund.org
