William F. "Billy" Wilson, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully at his home in Sharon, MA, on March 17, 2024, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on June 12, 1965, in Boston, MA, Billy was a devoted family man, a friend to all, and an avid lover of life's many adventures.

A proud graduate of Foxboro High School in 1983, Bill earned his Bachelor's Degree from North Adams State College in 1989 and that is where he met love of his life, Susan Giangrande.  Captains of their respective soccer teams, it is there  they met many lifelong friends and the two were inseparable from then on.  They were married in 1990 at St. Mary's Church in Waltham, and going on to share a beautiful life together for 34 years.

Billy's professional life was marked by his unwavering integrity and dedication, serving as Compliance Director for a Delaware Life Insurance Company. His colleagues will remember him not just for his professional acumen but for his kindness and generosity of spirit.

He was the beloved husband of Susan (Giangrande) Wilson, and a devoted father who took great pride in his sons, Derek Wilson (MSP) of Foxboro and Mark Wilson of Boston. His role as a father was paramount in his life, and he instilled in his sons the values of courage, commitment, and love.

Billy's legacy is also fondly cherished by his parents, William J. and Jacqueline Wilson of Foxboro, his loving sister Jacqueline Buckner and her husband Kurt of Foxboro, as well as his admired in-laws, Jacqueline Giangrande and her late husband Rudolph of Acton, and his dear aunt and uncle, Richard and Donna Hogan of Foxboro. His warmth and kindness will live on in the many hearts of his nieces, nephews, in-laws, great friends, and his loyal dog, "Rondo".

Throughout his life, Billy was a man of many interests, all of which he pursued with enthusiasm and joy. His technological savvy often had him playing around with phones and the latest gadgets. He loved everything Disney including planning trips down to the detail, and making sure to experience all the new rides. Running the Disney Marathon together with his son, Mark was one of his fondest memories. An ultra-marathon runner, Billy's determination and endurance were evident in his ability to conquer runs of over 50 miles.  His son Derek is the chef of the Family and Bill loved to enjoy the results of his work!

Billy and Susan cherished their time in Venice, Florida, where they escaped as often as they could to soak in the sunshine and the company of each other. Holidays were a special time for Billy, as he reveled in being surrounded by his family, creating memories that they will hold dear for a lifetime.

Described by those who knew him as loving, kind, and courageous,  Billy truly succeeded in making a positive impact on the lives of everyone he touched.

Billy's remarkable presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to a man who embodied love and strength, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on in the countless lives he has touched.
